She is best known for her role as Sanchi in the serial Balika Vadhu.[1]

Roop Durgapal was born in Almora, Uttarakhand, India.[2] She earned a Bachelor of Technology degree[3] in Instrumentation and Control Engineering[4][5] at Graphic Era Deemed To Be University in ,[4][6] and worked at Infosys before starting her career in acting.[7]
